Coastal Carolina Falls 39-38 to Razorbacks - Recap
T.J. Hammonds ran for 119 yards as Arkansas handled Coastal Carolina by a score of 39-38 on Saturday at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
Arkansas did not, however, defeat the Chanticleers against the spread, which closed at -24.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 59.5.
T.J. Hammonds rushed for 119 yards, while Devwah Whaley added 81 yards in the win. Jonathan Nance and T.J. Hammonds added 61 and 60 receiving yards respectively.
Jacqez Hairston rushed for 45 yards for Coastal Carolina, while Kilton Anderson added 37 yards. Kilton Anderson threw for 115 yards for the Chanticleers, while receivers Chris Jones and Malcolm Williams had 106 and 95 yards respectively.
Arkansas lost the time of possession battle 31:02-28:58, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Arkansas looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against LSU. Coastal Carolina will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Troy.
