Recap - Mountaineers Defeat Kansas State 28-23

Will Grier was good for 372 yards through the air on Saturday as the Mountaineers got past the Wildcats by a score of 28-23 at Snyder Family Stadium.

Kansas State was outgained by West Virginia 492-332 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 20-14 by the Mountaineers.

West Virginia lost the time of possession battle 36:01-23:59, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, West Virginia takes its act home to face Texas looking for another win. For Kansas State, they head on the road to face Oklahoma State.
