Stanford Cardinal vs USC Trojans Recap - Trojans Win 31-28
Sam Darnold threw for 325 yards to lead the Trojans over Stanford 31-28 on Friday in Week 14 action at Levi's Stadium.
The Trojans earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -3.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 58.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Sam Darnold completed 17 of 24 pass attempts for 325 yards for the Trojans in the win.
Bryce Love rushed for 125 yards for Stanford, while Cameron Scarlett added 21 yards. K.J. Costello threw for 192 yards for the Cardinal, while receivers JJ Arcega-Whiteside and Kaden Smith had 87 and 80 yards respectively.
Stanford lost the offensive yardage battle to USC 501-343 yards in Friday's game. USC had more first downs as that total ended up 22-18.
USC led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:14-28:46 split in that important category.
