Bulldogs vs Jaguars Final: 30-26 - Recap
South Alabama was unable to contain Jaqwis Dancy on Saturday and the result was a 30-26 Week 1 loss against the Bulldogs.

Jaqwis Dancy rushed for 144 yards, while Israel Tucker added 82 yards in the win. Adrian Hardy and Teddy Veal added 73 and 53 receiving yards respectively.
Evan Orth rushed for 74 yards for South Alabama, while Kawaan Baker added 51 yards. Cole Garvin threw for 47 yards for the Jaguars, while receivers Jamarius Way and Tra Minter had 31 and 28 yards respectively.
South Alabama lost the offensive yardage battle to LA Tech 440-308 yards in Saturday's game. LA Tech had more first downs as that total ended up 22-15.
South Alabama lost the time of possession battle 37:21-22:39, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
LA Tech looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Southern University. South Alabama will aim to get back on the winning track at Oklahoma State.
