USC Trojans vs Stanford Cardinal Wrap - Stanford Wins 17-3
The Trojans had no answer for Bryce Love on Saturday as the Cardinal rolled to a 17-3 win at Stanford Stadium.
The Cardinal were a -4.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 54.5.
Bryce Love rushed for 136 yards, while Cameron Scarlett added 12 yards in the win. Kaden Smith and JJ Arcega-Whiteside added 77 and 62 receiving yards respectively.
Aca'Cedric Ware rushed for 59 yards for USC, while Stephen Carr added 52 yards. Matt Fink threw for 3 yards for the Trojans, while receivers Tyler Vaughns and Michael Pittman Jr. had 84 and 65 yards respectively.
USC lost the offensive yardage battle to Stanford 342-332 yards in Saturday's game. USC had more first downs as that total ended up 20-13.
Stanford led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:43-29:17 split in that important category.
Next game, Stanford takes its act home to face UC Davis looking for another win. For USC, they head on the road to face Texas.
