Recap - Rockets Defeat Kent State 56-34

Bryant Koback tore up the turf for 192 rushing yards on Thursday to lead the Rockets to a 56-34 win over the Golden Flashes at Dix Stadium.

The Rockets were a -11.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 57.0.

Bryant Koback rushed for 192 yards, while Art Thompkins added 122 yards in the win. Jon'Vea Johnson and Cody Thompson added 55 and 31 receiving yards respectively.

Jo-el Shaw rushed for 116 yards for Kent State, while Woody Barrett added 36 yards. Woody Barrett threw for 198 yards for the Golden Flashes, while receivers Mike Carrigan and Lon'kevious McFadden had 110 and 81 yards respectively.

Kent State lost the offensive yardage battle to Toledo 517-497 yards in Thursday's game. Kent State had more first downs as that total ended up 23-21.

Kent State lost the time of possession battle 32:24-27:36, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Toledo heads into a 13 battle against Central Michigan. Kent State, meanwhile, will have their next action against Eastern Michigan.
