Massachusetts Minutemen vs Georgia Bulldogs Recap - Bulldogs Win 66-27

The battle between the Bulldogs and Minutemen didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Massachusetts was handed a 66-27 defeat on Saturday at Sanford Stadium.

Georgia did not, however, defeat the Minutemen against the spread, which closed at -41.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 67.0.

Justin Fields rushed for 100 yards, while James Cook added 76 yards in the win. Tyler Simmons and Mecole Hardman added 81 and 68 receiving yards respectively.

Brennan Dingle rushed for 42 yards for Massachusetts, while Marquis Young added 32 yards. Ross Comis threw for 278 yards for the Minutemen, while receivers Andy Isabella and Samuel Emilus had 219 and 24 yards respectively.

Massachusetts was outgained by Georgia 701-390 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 30-16 by the Bulldogs.

Georgia led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:11-25:49 split in that important category.
