UAB Falls 41-20 to Aggies - Recap
The Blazers had no answer for Trayveon Williams on Saturday as the Aggies rolled to a 41-20 win at Kyle Field.
Bettors who backed the Aggies were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -17.0 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 46.5.
Trayveon Williams rushed for 167 yards, while Kellen Mond added 38 yards in the win. Jace Sternberger and Quartney Davis added 85 and 37 receiving yards respectively.
Spencer Brown rushed for 80 yards for UAB, while Tyler Johnston added 25 yards. Tyler Johnston threw for 306 yards for the Blazers, while receivers Andre Wilson and Xavier Ubosi had 89 and 81 yards respectively.
UAB lost the offensive yardage battle to Texas A&M 444-417 yards in Saturday's game. UAB had more first downs as that total ended up 25-22.
UAB led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:11-25:49 split in that important category.
Texas A&M looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against LSU. UAB will aim to get back on the winning track at Middle Tennessee.
