UCLA Defeats USC 34-27 - Recap
The Trojans had no answer for Joshua Kelley on Saturday as the Bruins rolled to a 34-27 win at Rose Bowl.
UCLA was an underdog by +2.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 54.5.
Joshua Kelley rushed for 289 yards, while Wilton Speight added 22 yards in the win. Theo Howard and Caleb Wilson added 76 and 63 receiving yards respectively.
Vavae Malepeai rushed for 77 yards for USC, while Aca'Cedric Ware added 27 yards. JT Daniels threw for 337 yards for the Trojans, while receivers Michael Pittman Jr. and Amon-Ra St. Brown had 106 and 98 yards respectively.
UCLA outgained USC 479-449 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-19 by the Bruins.
USC lost the time of possession battle 32:48-27:12, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
UCLA looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Stanford. USC will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Notre Dame.
