Aggies Fall 45-10 Against BYU - Game Recap

BYU got a 155-yard performance from Zachary Katoa as a key part of its 45-10 victory over the Aggies on Saturday at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

The Cougars were a -25.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 59.0.

Zachary Katoa rushed for 155 yards, while Riley Burt added 61 yards in the win. Dallin Holker and Matt Bushman added 76 and 57 receiving yards respectively.

Christian Gibson rushed for 30 yards for New Mexico State, while Jason Huntley added 13 yards. Josh Adkins threw for 264 yards for the Aggies, while receivers OJ Clark and Royce Caldwell had 65 and 41 yards respectively.

New Mexico State lost the offensive yardage battle to BYU 510-312 yards in Saturday's game. BYU had more first downs as that total ended up 25-20.

New Mexico State lost the time of possession battle 33:01-26:59, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

BYU heads into a Week 13 battle against Utah. New Mexico State, meanwhile, will have their next action against Liberty.
