Recap - Utes Defeat BYU 35-27
The Utes were Week 13 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Cougars by a score of 35-27 at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
Utah did not, however, defeat the Cougars against the spread, which closed at -10.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 44.5.
Jason Shelley rushed for 61 yards, while Armand Shyne added 47 yards in the win. Siaosi Mariner and Solomon Enis added 50 and 35 receiving yards respectively.
Zach Wilson rushed for 73 yards for BYU, while Matt Hadley added 64 yards. Zach Wilson threw for 204 yards for the Cougars, while receivers Matt Bushman and Neil Pau'u had 92 and 28 yards respectively.
Utah lost the offensive yardage battle to BYU 357-296 yards in Saturday's game. Utah had more first downs as that total ended up 18-17.
The time of possession battle favored BYU as their offense was on the field for 34:18, longer than the 25:42 of their opponents.
