Steelers Fall 25-19 Against Carolina - Game Recap

The Panthers got a 2-TD performance from Taylor Heinicke as Carolina handed Pittsburgh a 25-19 defeat on Thursday at Bank of America Stadium.

The Panthers were a +4.0-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 33.5.

Taylor Heinicke completed 7 of 10 pass attempts for 89 yards and 2 TDs for the Panthers in the win.

Benny Snell Jr. rushed for 12 yards for Pittsburgh, while Joshua Dobbs added 11 yards. Mason Rudolph threw for 125 yards for the Steelers, while receivers Johnny Holton and Benny Snell Jr. had 86 and 23 yards respectively.

Pittsburgh lost the offensive yardage battle to Carolina 383-200 yards in Thursday's game. Carolina had more first downs as that total ended up 23-14.

Carolina led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:46-25:14 split in that important category.

Next game, Carolina takes its act home to face LA Rams looking for another win. For Pittsburgh, they head on the road to face New England.
