Buffalo Defeats New York 17-16 - Recap

The Jets were burned by John Brown for 123 receiving yards on Sunday as the Bills picked up a 17-16 win at MetLife Stadium.

Buffalo won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +2.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 41.0.

Devin Singletary rushed for 70 yards, while Josh Allen added 38 yards in the win. John Brown and Cole Beasley added 123 and 40 receiving yards respectively.

Le'Veon Bell rushed for 60 yards for New York, while Ty Montgomery added 4 yards. Sam Darnold threw for 175 yards for the Jets, while receivers Jamison Crowder and Le'Veon Bell had 99 and 32 yards respectively.

New York lost the offensive yardage battle to Buffalo 370-223 yards in Sunday's game. Buffalo had more first downs as that total ended up 23-17.

Buffalo lost the time of possession battle 32:01-27:59, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Buffalo takes its act on the road to face NY Giants looking for another win. For New York, they head home to face Cleveland.
