Washington Redskins vs Minnesota Vikings Recap - Vikings Win 19-9

Washington was unable to slow down Stefon Diggs, who produced 143 receiving yards as the Vikings defeated the Redskins 19-9 on Thursday.

Minnesota did not, however, defeat the Redskins against the spread, which closed at -17.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 42.0.

Dalvin Cook rushed for 98 yards, while Alexander Mattison added 61 yards in the win. Stefon Diggs and Dalvin Cook added 143 and 73 receiving yards respectively.

Adrian Peterson rushed for 76 yards for Washington, while Wendell Smallwood added 9 yards. Case Keenum threw for 130 yards for the Redskins, while receivers Terry McLaurin and Paul Richardson Jr. had 39 and 34 yards respectively.

Washington lost the offensive yardage battle to Minnesota 434-216 yards in Thursday's game. Minnesota had more first downs as that total ended up 22-14.

Washington lost the time of possession battle 36:36-23:24, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Minnesota looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Chiefs. The Redskins will aim to get back on the winning track at Buffalo.
