Miami Falls 27-14 to Steelers - Recap
The Dolphins had no answer for James Conner on Monday as the Steelers rolled to a 27-14 win at Heinz Field.
The Steelers earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -14.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 43.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
James Conner rushed for 145 yards, while Benny Snell Jr. added 13 yards in the win. JuJu Smith-Schuster and Diontae Johnson added 103 and 84 receiving yards respectively.
Mark Walton rushed for 35 yards for Miami, while Ryan Fitzpatrick added 17 yards. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 190 yards for the Dolphins, while receivers DeVante Parker and Preston Williams had 59 and 42 yards respectively.
Pittsburgh outgained Miami 394-230 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 21-16 by the Steelers.
The time of possession battle favored Pittsburgh as their offense was on the field for 35:18, longer than the 24:42 of their opponents.
Next game, Pittsburgh takes its act home to face Indianapolis looking for another win. For Miami, they head home to face NY Jets.
