Chicago Bears vs Cleveland Browns Wrap - Cleveland Wins 26-6
The battle between the Browns and Bears didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Chicago was handed a 26-6 defeat on Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium.
Bettors who backed the Browns were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -7.5 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 45.0.
Nick Chubb rushed for 84 yards, while Kareem Hunt added 81 yards in the win. Odell Beckham Jr. and Kareem Hunt added 77 and 74 receiving yards respectively.
David Montgomery rushed for 34 yards for Chicago, while Justin Fields added 12 yards. Justin Fields threw for 68 yards for the Bears, while receivers Allen Robinson II and David Montgomery had 27 and 21 yards respectively.
Chicago lost the offensive yardage battle to Cleveland 418-47 yards in Sunday's game. Cleveland had more first downs as that total ended up 26-6.
Cleveland led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 39:34-20:26 split in that important category.
Cleveland heads into a Week 4 battle against the Vikings. Chicago, meanwhile, will have their next action against Detroit.
