Patriots Down Houston 25-22 - Match Report

The Patriots grabbed a Week 5 victory over the Texans on Sunday, winning 25-22 at NRG Stadium.

New England won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -8.0-point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 39.0.

Damien Harris rushed for 58 yards, while Brandon Bolden added 25 yards in the win. Hunter Henry and Jakobi Meyers added 75 and 56 receiving yards respectively.

Mark Ingram II rushed for 41 yards for Houston, while Phillip Lindsay added 19 yards. Davis Mills threw for 312 yards for the Texans, while receivers Chris Moore and Chris Conley had 109 and 84 yards respectively.

New England lost the offensive yardage battle to Houston 360-352 yards in Sunday's game. New England had more first downs as that total ended up 21-14.

Houston lost the time of possession battle 30:44-29:16, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, New England takes its act home to face Dallas looking for another win. For Houston, they head on the road to face Indianapolis.
