Recap - Steelers Defeat Jacksonville 16-15

The Steelers were Pre-Season Week 2 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Jaguars by a score of 16-15 at TIAA Bank Field.

Pittsburgh was the ATS victor, as they covered the +0.0-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 41.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Steven Sims Jr. rushed for 11 yards, while Mitch Trubisky added 10 yards in the win. Tyler Vaughns and Pat Freiermuth added 56 and 35 receiving yards respectively.

Travis Etienne Jr. rushed for 29 yards for Jacksonville, while Snoop Conner added 19 yards. E.J. Perry threw for 92 yards for the Jaguars, while receivers Tim Jones and Christian Kirk had 70 and 54 yards respectively.

Jacksonville outgained Pittsburgh 367-279 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 19-14 by the Jaguars.

Pittsburgh lost the time of possession battle 34:21-25:39, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Pittsburgh takes its act home to face Detroit looking for another win. For Jacksonville, they head on the road to face Atlanta.
