Recap - Giants Defeat Washington 31-19

The Giants got a 3-TD performance from Tommy DeVito as New York handed Washington a 31-19 defeat on Sunday at FedEx Field.

New York won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +7.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 39.0.

Tommy DeVito completed 18 of 26 pass attempts for 246 yards and 3 TDs for the Giants in the win.

Brian Robinson Jr. rushed for 73 yards for Washington, while Chris Rodriguez Jr. added 43 yards. Sam Howell threw for 255 yards for the Commanders, while receivers Brian Robinson Jr. and Logan Thomas had 58 and 58 yards respectively.

New York lost the offensive yardage battle to Washington 403-292 yards in Sunday's game. Washington had more first downs as that total ended up 28-13.

The time of possession battle favored Washington as their offense was on the field for 34:51, longer than the 25:09 of their opponents.

Next game, New York takes its act home to face New England looking for another win. For Washington, they head on the road to face Dallas.
