Cincinnati Falls 21-19 to Commanders - Recap

Jake Fromm threw a pair of TD passes as Washington defeated Cincinnati 21-19 in Pre-Season Week 3 action on Saturday.

The Commanders earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -3.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 34.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Jake Fromm completed 13 of 18 pass attempts for 144 yards and 2 TDs for the Commanders in the win.

Chase Brown rushed for 39 yards for Cincinnati, while Jacob Saylors added 27 yards. Reid Sinnett threw for 77 yards for the Bengals, while receivers Shedrick Jackson and Tanner Hudson had 56 and 42 yards respectively.

Cincinnati lost the offensive yardage battle to Washington 374-336 yards in Saturday's game. Washington had more first downs as that total ended up 22-20.

Cincinnati lost the time of possession battle 30:08-29:52, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Washington takes its act home to face Arizona looking for another win. For Cincinnati, they head on the road to face Cleveland.
