Titans vs Jets Final: 26-22 - Recap
New York was unable to slow down Taywan Taylor, who produced 104 receiving yards as the Titans defeated the Jets 26-22 on Sunday.
The Titans won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -10.0-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.
Marcus Mariota rushed for 42 yards, while Derrick Henry added 40 yards in the win. Taywan Taylor and Tajae Sharpe added 104 and 51 receiving yards respectively.
Isaiah Crowell rushed for 98 yards for New York, while Elijah McGuire added 19 yards. Josh McCown threw for 128 yards for the Jets, while receivers Robby Anderson and Christopher Herndon IV had 48 and 31 yards respectively.
New York lost the offensive yardage battle to Tennessee 403-280 yards in Sunday's game. Tennessee had more first downs as that total ended up 22-15.
Tennessee lost the time of possession battle 33:22-26:38, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Tennessee takes its act home to face Jacksonville looking for another win. For New York, they head on the road to face Buffalo.
