Texans vs Jets Final: 29-22 - Recap

The Jets were burned by DeAndre Hopkins for 170 receiving yards on Saturday as the Texans picked up a 29-22 win at MetLife Stadium.

Even though Houston won, nobody won at the betting window as the game was a push (based on the closing point spread of -7.0. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 44.5.

Deshaun Watson rushed for 26 yards, while Lamar Miller added 8 yards in the win. DeAndre Hopkins and Demaryius Thomas added 170 and 59 receiving yards respectively.

Elijah McGuire rushed for 42 yards for New York, while Sam Darnold added 35 yards. Sam Darnold threw for 253 yards for the Jets, while receivers Robby Anderson and Christopher Herndon IV had 96 and 53 yards respectively.

New York outgained Houston 318-286 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 21-15 by the Jets.

Houston lost the time of possession battle 35:04-24:56, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Houston looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Eagles. The Jets will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Green Bay.
