New York Falls 17-0 to Titans - Recap
Derrick Henry tore up the turf for 170 rushing yards on Sunday to lead the Titans to a 17-0 win over the Giants at MetLife Stadium.
Tennessee won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -2.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 42.0.
Derrick Henry rushed for 170 yards, while Dion Lewis added 35 yards in the win. Corey Davis and Luke Stocker added 33 and 27 receiving yards respectively.
Saquon Barkley rushed for 31 yards for New York, while Riley Dixon added 14 yards. Eli Manning threw for 229 yards for the Giants, while receivers Evan Engram and Bennie Fowler had 75 and 43 yards respectively.
New York lost the offensive yardage battle to Tennessee 301-260 yards in Sunday's game. Tennessee had more first downs as that total ended up 22-15.
The time of possession battle favored Tennessee as their offense was on the field for 35:21, longer than the 24:39 of their opponents.
Next game, Tennessee takes its act home to face Washington looking for another win. For New York, they head on the road to face Indianapolis.
