Edmonton Skates Past New York 2-1 - Recap

Edmonton skated to a 2-1 victory over New York on Saturday in NHL action at Madison Square Garden.

Henrik Lundqvist stopped 25 of 27 shots for the Rangers, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Edmonton went 1-for-4, while the Rangers were 0-for-2 with the man advantage.

Edmonton outshot New York 27-24 in the game.

Next game, Edmonton takes its act on the road to face Winnipeg looking for another win. For New York, they head home to face Colorado.
