Washington Falls 2-1 to Wild - Recap

The Wild earned a 2-1 victory over the Capitals on Friday at Capital One Arena.

Braden Holtby stopped 25 of 27 shots for the Capitals, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Minnesota went 0-for-1, while the Capitals were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Washington lost the shots on goal battle to Minnesota by a margin of 27-22.

Next game, Minnesota takes its act on the road to face Carolina looking for another win. For Washington, they head home to face Philadelphia.
