Recap - Blue Jackets Defeat Toronto 4-3

The Blue Jackets earned a 4-3 victory over the Maple Leafs on Monday at Scotiabank Arena.

Columbus won as a +166 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 6.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Columbus got goals from Riley Nash, Alexander Wennberg, Gustav Nyquist, and Pierre-Luc Dubois in the victory. Nash opened the scoring at 2:31 of the first period.

Joonas Korpisalo turned in a 28-save effort for the Blue Jackets.

Kasperi Kapanen, William Nylander, and Auston Matthews scored for the Maple Leafs, finding the net behind Joonas Korpisalo.

Frederik Andersen stopped 34 of 38 shots for the Maple Leafs, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Columbus went 1-for-5, while the Maple Leafs were 0-for-2 with the man advantage.

Columbus outshot Toronto 38-31 in the game.

Columbus heads into a battle against the Hurricanes. Toronto, meanwhile, will have their next action against Boston.
