Recap - Hurricanes Defeat Ottawa 8-2

Ottawa got goals from Brady Tkachuk, and Colin White in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Anders Nilsson stopped 15 of 19 shots for the Senators, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Carolina went 1-for-3, while the Senators were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Carolina outshot Ottawa 43-28 in the game.
