Calgary Skates Past Philadelphia 3-2 - Recap

Calgary needed a shootout to earn a 3-2 victory over Philadelphia on Saturday in NHL action at Wells Fargo Center.

Calgary won as a +111 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 6.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Calgary got goals from Andrew Mangiapane, and Elias Lindholm in the victory. Mangiapane opened the scoring at 1:01 of the third period.

David Rittich turned in a 36-save effort for the Flames.

Jakub Voracek, and Kevin Hayes scored for the Flyers, finding the net behind David Rittich.

Philadelphia got a 25-stop effort from Carter Hart in the loss.

On the power play, Calgary went 0-for-3, while the Flyers were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Calgary lost the shots on goal battle to Philadelphia by a margin of 38-27.

Next game, Calgary takes its act on the road to face Pittsburgh looking for another win. For Philadelphia, they head home to face Vancouver.
