Blues Fall 5-4 Against Vegas - Game Recap

The Blues came up short Saturday against the Golden Knights, falling 5-4.

Vegas won as a -139 favorite, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Vegas got goals from Ryan Reaves, Nicolas Roy, Chandler Stephenson, Paul Stastny, and Reilly Smith in the victory. Reaves opened the scoring at 13:10 of the second period.

Marc-Andre Fleury turned in a 27-save effort for the Golden Knights.

David Perron, Oskar Sundqvist, Jaden Schwartz, and Alex Pietrangelo scored for the Blues, finding the net behind Marc-Andre Fleury.

St. Louis got a 28-stop effort from Jake Allen in the loss.

On the power play, Vegas went 0-for-2, while the Blues were 2-for-3 with the man advantage.

Vegas outshot St. Louis 33-31 in the game.

Next game, Vegas takes its act home to face Pittsburgh looking for another win. For St. Louis, they head home to face San Jose.
