Blackhawks Fall 5-2 Against Nashville - Game Recap

The Blackhawks came up short Thursday against the Predators, falling 5-2.

Nashville won as a -143 favorite, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 6.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Nashville got goals from Colin Blackwell, Viktor Arvidsson, Nick Bonino, Matt Duchene, and Pekka Rinne in the victory. Arvidsson opened the scoring at 3:16 of the first period.

Pekka Rinne turned in a 29-save effort for the Predators.

Alex DeBrincat, and Dominik Kubalik scored for the Blackhawks, finding the net behind Pekka Rinne.

Corey Crawford stopped 25 of 28 shots for the Blackhawks, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Nashville went 0-for-2, while the Blackhawks were 1-for-3 with the man advantage.

Nashville lost the shots on goal battle to Chicago by a margin of 31-30.

Next game, Nashville takes its act on the road to face Winnipeg looking for another win. For Chicago, they head home to face Anaheim.
