Pittsburgh Skates Past New York 5-4 - Recap

The Rangers came up short Saturday against the Penguins, falling 5-4.

Kevin Rooney, Chris Kreider, Artemi Panarin, and Brendan Lemieux scored for the Rangers, finding the net behind Casey DeSmith.

Alexandar Georgiev stopped 33 of 38 shots for the Rangers, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Pittsburgh went 0-for-4, while the Rangers were 1-for-5 with the man advantage.

New York lost the shots on goal battle to Pittsburgh by a margin of 38-34.
