Philadelphia Skates Past Buffalo 5-4 - Recap

Brian Elliott stopped 11 of 12 Buffalo shots in the victory.

Buffalo got goals from Sam Reinhart(2), Riley Sheahan, and Brandon Montour in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Buffalo got a 29-stop effort from Jonas Johansson in the loss.

On the power play, Philadelphia went 1-for-4, while the Sabres were 0-for-2 with the man advantage.

Buffalo lost the shots on goal battle to Philadelphia by a margin of 33-20.

Philadelphia looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Capitals. The Sabres will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Pittsburgh.
