Minnesota Skates Past San Jose 6-2 - Recap

The Sharks came up short Monday against the Wild, falling 6-2.

Minnesota got goals from Ian Cole, Victor Rask, Kirill Kaprizov, Jonas Brodin, Mats Zuccarello, and Marcus Foligno in the victory. Zuccarello opened the scoring at 7:49 of the first period.

Kaapo Kahkonen stopped 31 of 33 San Jose shots in the victory.

Brent Burns, and Logan Couture scored for the Sharks, finding the net behind Kaapo Kahkonen.

Martin Jones stopped 16 of 20 shots for the Sharks, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Minnesota went 1-for-3, while the Sharks were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Minnesota outshot San Jose 34-33 in the game.

Minnesota looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Avalanche. The Sharks will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Vegas.
