Senators vs Hurricanes Final: 3-2 - Recap

Ottawa earned a 3-2 victory over Carolina behind a 2-goal performance from Alex Formenton on Thursday at PNC Arena.

Antti Raanta stopped 17 of 20 shots for the Hurricanes, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Ottawa went 0-for-3, while the Hurricanes were 1-for-4 with the man advantage.

Ottawa lost the shots on goal battle to Carolina by a margin of 49-20.

Ottawa looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Avalanche. The Hurricanes will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Buffalo.
