Minnesota Falls 3-2 to Sabres - Recap

It came down to a shootout and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen foiled the opposition in a 3-2 victory for Buffalo over Minnesota Thursday.

Buffalo got goals from Mark Pysyk, and Dylan Cozens in the victory. Cozens opened the scoring at 8:05 of the second period.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen stopped 30 of 32 Minnesota shots in the victory.

Jon Merrill, and Kirill Kaprizov scored for the Wild, finding the net behind Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen.

Cam Talbot stopped 38 of 40 shots for the Wild, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Buffalo went 0-for-2, while the Wild were 0-for-2 with the man advantage.

Minnesota lost the shots on goal battle to Buffalo by a margin of 40-32.

Next game, Buffalo takes its act on the road to face Pittsburgh looking for another win. For Minnesota, they head home to face Florida.
