Pittsburgh Skates Past Arizona 4-1 - Recap

Sidney Crosby scored a pair of goals against the Coyotes as Pittsburgh handed Arizona a 4-1 defeat on Saturday at Gila River Arena.

Pittsburgh got goals from Sidney Crosby(2), Evgeni Malkin, and Kasperi Kapanen in the victory. Kapanen opened the scoring at 2:09 of the second period.

Arizona got a goal from Clayton Keller in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Scott Wedgewood stopped 45 of 48 shots for the Coyotes, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Pittsburgh went 0-for-3, while the Coyotes were 0-for-2 with the man advantage.

Arizona lost the shots on goal battle to Pittsburgh by a margin of 49-21.

Next game, Pittsburgh takes its act home to face Columbus looking for another win. For Arizona, they head on the road to face San Jose.
