Recap - Capitals Defeat Buffalo 4-3

It came down to a shootout and Ilya Samsonov foiled the opposition in a 4-3 victory for Washington over Buffalo Friday.

On the power play, Washington went 0-for-1, while the Sabres were 0-for-1 with the man advantage.

Washington outshot Buffalo 40-23 in the game.

Next game, Washington takes its act home to face New Jersey looking for another win. For Buffalo, they head on the road to face New York.
