Ottawa Ices Boston 3-2 - Recap

Anton Forsberg stopped 40 of 42 shots fired at him by Boston, as the Senators skated to a 3-2 victory Thursday at TD Garden.

Ottawa won as a +232 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Ottawa got goals from Tim Stuetzle, Josh Norris, and Brady Tkachuk in the victory. Tkachuk opened the scoring at 0:47 of the second period.

Anton Forsberg turned in a 40-save effort for the Senators.

Boston got goals from Marc McLaughlin, and Jesper Froden in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Jeremy Swayman stopped 21 of 24 shots for the Bruins, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Ottawa went 2-for-6, while the Bruins were 0-for-5 with the man advantage.

Boston outshot Ottawa 42-32 in the game.

Next game, Ottawa takes its act home to face Toronto looking for another win. For Boston, they head home to face Pittsburgh.
