Vegas Skates Past Calgary 6-1 - Recap

Vegas got a 35-save performance from Logan Thompson as the Golden Knights handed Calgary a 6-1 loss on Thursday at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Vegas won as a +151 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 6.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Jack Eichel, Evgenii Dadonov, Nicolas Roy, William Karlsson, Michael Amadio, and Jonathan Marchessault each scored for the Golden Knights in the victory. Eichel opened the scoring for Vegas.

Logan Thompson turned in a 35-save effort for the Golden Knights.

Calgary got a goal from Dillon Dube in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Jacob Markstrom stopped 13 of 17 shots for the Flames, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Vegas went 1-for-4, while the Flames were 1-for-3 with the man advantage.

Vegas lost the shots on goal battle to Calgary by a margin of 36-25.

Vegas looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Oilers. The Flames will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Arizona.
