Colorado Skates Past Minnesota 6-3 - Recap

The Avalanche earned a 6-3 victory over Minnesota on Monday behind a 36-save performance from Alexandar Georgiev at Xcel Energy Center.

The Avalanche were a -120 favorite in the win. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 6.5.

Mikko Rantanen, Nathan MacKinnon, Ben Meyers, Josh Manson, Samuel Girard, and Valeri Nichushkin each scored for the Avalanche in the victory. Meyers opened the scoring for Colorado.

Alexandar Georgiev turned in a 36-save effort for the Avalanche.

Minnesota got goals from Kirill Kaprizov(2), and Joel Eriksson Ek in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Filip Gustavsson stopped 32 of 37 shots for the Wild, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Colorado went 1-for-2, while the Wild were 2-for-4 with the man advantage.

Minnesota outshot Colorado 39-38 in the game.

Next game, Colorado takes its act home to face Winnipeg looking for another win. For Minnesota, they head home to face Vancouver.
