Minnesota Falls 6-4 to Penguins - Recap

Sidney Crosby scored twice to lead the Penguins over Minnesota 6-4 on Thursday at Xcel Energy Center.

Sidney Crosby(2), Brock McGinn, Kris Letang, Ryan Poehling, and Jake Guentzel each scored for the Penguins in the victory. Crosby opened the scoring for Pittsburgh.

Tristan Jarry turned in a 19-save effort for the Penguins.

Minnesota got goals from Joel Eriksson Ek(2), Matt Dumba, and Brandon Duhaime in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Filip Gustavsson stopped 26 of 31 shots for the Wild, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Pittsburgh went 2-for-5, while the Wild were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Minnesota lost the shots on goal battle to Pittsburgh by a margin of 32-23.

Pittsburgh looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Jets. The Wild will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Carolina.
