Carolina Falls 3-1 to Flyers - Recap

The Hurricanes came up short Wednesday against the Flyers, falling 3-1.

Travis Konecny, Owen Tippett, and Ryan Poehling each scored for the Flyers in the victory. Tippett opened the scoring for Philadelphia.

Carolina got a goal from Stefan Noesen in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Pyotr Kochetkov stopped 20 of 23 shots for the Hurricanes, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Philadelphia went 0-for-1, while the Hurricanes were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Philadelphia lost the shots on goal battle to Carolina by a margin of 32-23.

Next game, Philadelphia takes its act home to face Vegas looking for another win. For Carolina, they head home to face Pittsburgh.
