Canadiens Fall 6-5 Against Vegas - Game Recap

Vegas skated to a 6-5 victory over Montreal on Thursday in NHL action at Bell Centre.

Vegas won as a -197 favorite, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 6.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Shea Theodore, Jonathan Marchessault, Brayden McNabb, Mark Stone, Jack Eichel, and Brett Howden each scored for the Golden Knights in the victory. Howden opened the scoring for Vegas.

Jesse Ylonen(2), Johnathan Kovacevic, Alex Newhook, and Justin Barron scored for the Canadiens, finding the net behind Adin Hill.

Montreal got a 36-stop effort from Cayden Primeau in the loss.

On the power play, Vegas went 3-for-7, while the Canadiens were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Vegas outshot Montreal 42-28 in the game.
