Calgary Falls 6-2 to Avalanche - Recap

Colorado earned a 6-2 victory over Calgary behind a 2-goal performance from Mikko Rantanen on Tuesday at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Colorado was favored by -173 and came through for bettors backing them. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 6.5.

Mikko Rantanen(2), Nathan MacKinnon, Valeri Nichushkin, Casey Mittelstadt, and Josh Manson each scored for the Avalanche in the victory. Rantanen opened the scoring for Colorado.

Justus Annunen turned in a 25-save effort for the Avalanche.

Calgary got goals from Walker Duehr, and Daniil Miromanov in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Dan Vladar stopped 29 of 35 shots for the Flames, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Colorado went 1-for-4, while the Flames were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Calgary lost the shots on goal battle to Colorado by a margin of 38-27.

Next game, Colorado takes its act on the road to face Vancouver looking for another win. For Calgary, they head home to face Vegas.
