Recap - Avalanche Defeat Vancouver 4-3

Nathan MacKinnon scored a pair of goals against the Canucks as Colorado handed Vancouver a 4-3 defeat on Wednesday at Rogers Arena.

Colorado won as a +107 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 6.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Nathan MacKinnon(2), Mikko Rantanen, and Ross Colton each scored for the Avalanche in the victory. Rantanen opened the scoring for Colorado.

Alexandar Georgiev turned in a 18-save effort for the Avalanche.

Vancouver got goals from Nikita Zadorov, Ilya Mikheyev, and J.T. Miller in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Casey DeSmith stopped 30 of 34 shots for the Canucks, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Colorado went 2-for-4, while the Canucks were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Colorado outshot Vancouver 34-21 in the game.

Colorado heads into a battle against the Oilers. Vancouver, meanwhile, will have their next action against Washington.
