Las Vegas - Numbers don't lie. The Dodgers posted 106 wins and host the wild card game as a gigantic -$220 favorite. And why not. Max Scherzer is on the bump. Mad Max started twice against St. Loo this season and was electric. When he was still with the Nationals, Max started against the Cards in Washington, went six innings and did not allow an earned run. With the Dodgers, he threw against the Cardinals in St. Louis back in September, and went eight innings without allowing an earned run.

Las Vegas - If you're waiting for me to make a pick on the Yankees/Red Sox game, keep waiting. AIN'T gonna happen. If you're waiting for Facebook and Instagram to return, it probably WILL happen. If you're waiting for Urban Meyer to get another kinda lap dance, who knows! Most of you who have been at the Ecks & Bacon table for the last few years know that I BLEED PINSTRIPES. Las Vegas - With a 3-0 record, everyone here in Vegas is flashing back to Kenny Stabler throwing to Fred Biletnikoff. NOT so fast. Derek Carr to Henry Ruggs III is a nice combo, but lets not call the Hall of Fame just yet. Las Vegas - Gonna rock n' roll with Motown on Sunday and take Detroit +3 points over Chicago. There are problems in both cities, but the Bears troubles start with the QBs. Andy Dalton is listed as questionable with a bum knee and Justin Fields hurt his right thumb last week which leaves Nick Foles waiting in the wings. Then we watched All-Pro LB Kahlil Mack limp off the field last week, and if he can't go, UH OH! Understand that the Lions are 0-3 but just look who they played.

Las Vegas - Rolling up to Corvallis and trying Oregon State -1.5 points over Washington. The line on this game opened Huskies -3, switched to the Beavers -2.5, and has dropped back to -1.5. OSU had a GIGANTIC win at USC last week, beating the Trojans 45-27. State QB Chance Nolan was deadly accurate, completing 15 of 19 for 213 yards, but this game was won on the ground. The Beavers gobbled up 322 yards against SC, with B.J. Baylor romping for 158.
