Las Vegas - Have not made that many trips to Wrigley Field this season, but thinking about Justin Steele and the Cubs this afternoon. Steele has shown a strong arm the last three outings, allowing only one earned run over the last 13 innings.

Las Vegas - Back in San Diego tonight and looking at the Padres with Joe Musgrove over the Giants. Musgrove had a nice stint in the All-Star game, pitching a scoreless inning, then got a little ugly in his next start. Looks like he is back on track after a solid effort against the Twins, but it's his work against San Francisco that has me sitting up straight in my chair. In two starts against the Giants this season, Musgrove has just one win, but has allowed ZERO earned runs.

Las Vegas - Hate to pick on a guy when he is down, but Washington's Patrick Corbin is a MONEY MACHINE! When you play the OTHER SIDE. Corbin appears to have thrown in the towel. He is OH & FIVE since July 9, and has been RIPPED for 31 hits and 20 earned runs over the last 15 innings. That's a 12.00 ERA, and you could say that's a real DIRTY DOZEN! In the other dugout, Philadelphia's Ranger Suarez has been feeding bagels to the opposition.
