So, the Cubs are desperate for a starting pitcher and will be calling up Adrian Sampson from their Triple A club in Iowa. Talk about desperate. Sampson was 6-9 for the Texas Rangers in 2018 and 2019, then pitched in South Korea last season for the Lotte Giants. If you didn't catch the Vegas game against the Seahawks, Gruden left Nathan Peterman in for the ENTIRE game! Don't think I've seen that in a week one exhibition game in like, FOREVER!
