balt and ravens

Las Vegas - Looks like the Ravens are starting to fly. They are in the penthouse of the AFC North with a 5-3 record and have had a few extra days rest. Lamar Jackson will be without All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews, which is a YUGE loss, but he has found two new kids to handle the air attack. Isaiah Likely and Demarcus Robinson both had six grabs against the Bucs last week, and Lamar spread the love to seven receivers. There is not one Derrick Henry-type back to carry the freight, but Gus Edwards (65 yards), Kenyan Drake (62 yards), Lamar (43 yards) and a few others combined for 231 against a normally tough Tampa D. Andy Dalton led the charge last week when the Saints bageled the Raiders 24-0, but as we saw yesterday with that 27-20 loss to Jacksonville, Vegas is kinda TERRIBLE! And holding down Derek Carr last week is a WHOLE lot different than having to deal with Jackson's legs. Looks like the sharps are betting the Saints as the line has dropped from an open of Baltimore -3 all the way down to -1.5. Could be the news that Baltimore's Edwards has a hamstring issue. Never like to buck the money, but putting my wallet at the mercy of the Red Rifle is not my jam. Still gonna fly with the Ravens, but just a very small taste.
