Las Vegas - First up, soccer over in Germany, then back to NYC for some horses...

Bundesliga hat trick BBAAABBBEEE!!! Had RB Leipzig over FC Cologne on Monday and the visiting Red Bulls rolled to a 4-2 victory. Looking to add to our 3-0 Bundesliga run, we'll take a look at Eintracht Frankfurt vs. SV Werder Bremen. The Frankfurters travel 275 miles North, give or take a kilometer, to Bremen, to take on the River Islanders. Of course, you're wondering about Eintracht. What does it mean? It translates to either concord, harmony, unity or peace. A useless piece of information that ain't gonna help you handicap this game, but we do have some numbers you can chew on. Frankfurt, actually called The Eagles, but we like the Frankfurters better, are sitting in 12th place with 9 wins, 14 losses and 5 draws. They've scored 46 goals, allowed 53, which works out to a -7 goal differential. Bremen is under water as well, but a whole lot deeper, sitting in 17th place with only 6 wins, 15 losses and 7 draws. They've scored just 30 goals, allowed 59, which works out to an UGLIFIED -29 goal differential. So, we're being pulled in both directions. Eintracht has scored seven goals in its last three games, while Werder has managed just eight goals in its last 15. Give the edge to the Frankfurters, but the River Islanders are fighting to avoid relegation, so they should be ultra-stoked. When in doubt, we turn to the draw which is +$230. Gonna drop half a Benjamin to win back a buck 15.

And now here's my main horse guy, Martin Calia, with some more winners...

Talk to us Marty...

"It's opening day at Belmont Park and I have some action for ya!

In the 1st race, I like number 4, Star of the West. This is Star's second career start, but hasn't raced since being claimed on July 14,2019, at the Spa. Trainer and owner Rudy Rodriguez spent 20k and he returns in a 6 1/2 furlong race today. In that last race on opening day last year at Saratoga, he broke from the 11 post and raced four wide until hitting the turn at the top of the stretch. He did back up around the turn but came flying to finish fourth beaten by only 6 lengths. It's a good sign that they kept this horse at the same level and the works look pretty good. Some geeky stats. Rudy is 16% after claiming a horse, 27% blinkers on, and 31 % first time blinkers. Therefore we will bet $25 win, place show on number 4 Star of the West, and a $5 exacta wheel, number 4 with all. Since this is the first half of the daily double, we will bet $5 daily doubles, number 4 with the 1,2,4,5, and 8 in the second race.

Race 9 is the Beaugay Stakes and the return of the Chad Brown trainee, Rushing Falls. Although she is 6/5 in this six horse field, she will have her hands full against Got Stormy and the other Chad Brown horse, Fifty Five. She is definitely the class of this field and should go gate to wire. Gimme a FULL Benjamin, $100 to win on number 1 Rushing Falls."
